Anthony Hamilton, Memoirs of Count Grammont, trans Walpole, edited Scott and Mrs Jameson; includes portraits of the Windsor Beauties. Royal 8vo, nd but circa 1890s, 408 pages. Hamilton’s work (he was b1646 in either Roscrea or Nenagh Castle where his father was Governor) first published in 1713 is regarded as a minor French Classic and remains in print down the centuries to date.
