We would really appreciate it, if you, our valued customers, would adhere to the following special conditions to ensure the smooth running of this sale.
1 No viewing or attendance is permitted at this sale under current government guidelines. However, if you have any queries regarding any lot(s), please email us at info@purcellauctioneers.ie or phone 0579120270 in advance of the sale day and we will respond in due course. No lot enquiries on sale day can be answered.
2 Telephone bids are only accepted where the lower estimate exceeds €50 and as phone lines are limited, we would expect that you would at least be willing to bid in excess of the lower estimate of any lot. All telephone and absentee bids must be placed before 5pm on Tuesday the 10th of November.
3 No collections allowed until after the current lockdown ends. However, where possible, we will do everything in our power to facilitate postage of small lots/volumes of lots.

Exceptional 19th Century Oak Stationary cabinet of waterfall design Fitted with three drawers and printed silk day, date and month calendar rollers { all working } Two bronze topped glass inkwell with Royal crown motif, pen/pencil rest and wave cut sectional stationary holders. Size 14.5 inches wide x 13.5 inches high. Condition is very good bar a missing splice of timber behind and small dent rear corner as seen from rear photograph..Lot 255
A very nice 19th century silverplated oil lamp of slender proportions with cutglass bowl. The silver-plated burner carries the marks of Sherwood's Ltd. Size to top of burner 13 inches, size to top of chimney 21.5 inches {double burner} Silver plating is in good condition and the cut glass bowl is undamaged. No chips or nibbles. A superb 19th Century commemorative jug. Titled “The Royal Patriotic “jug with battle scenes from the battle Sebastopol 1855 made by S. Alcock & Co Burslem This is a superb quality jug with serpent handle. Hand decorated with deep orange painted handle & rim and heavily gilded. The black & white transfers under glaze are of superior quality. There are no cracks or chip. Slight discolouration to the pottery in limited areas otherwise excellent.Lot 285
A German early 20th Century doll by Armand Marseilla. This doll is of timber construction with a ceramic head. Knee and arm joints bend with the help of a coiled spring mechanism. Head appears to be fixed Lifelike glass eyes with closing eye lids. Condition is good with just normal wear and tear. Loss to part of a thumb. Approx 17 inches tall.Hammer: €65
