Flann O' Brien- At Swim Two Birds, Longmans, 1939. FIRST EDITION. Original black cloth with gilt lettering, with Dust jacket. One of 244 copies sold before the Longmans warehouse was destroyed by German bombs. - carrying a long and enthusiastic quote from Graham Greene on its rear panel (also excerpted on the front), which makes the lapse of referring to the author as 'O'Nolan'. The failure to use his pseudonym enraged the author to the extent that he is believed to have removed any jackets that he laid eyes upon from the 80 or so copies exported to Dublin.
