(bound in one) first edition, about 300 pages of text and 131 plates, mostly tinted lithographs and a few real photo prints, engraved illustrations throughout, well bound in half black morocco, spine gilt decorated and lettered, neat stamp on reverse of title page showing this was sold as a duplicate by Queen’s University of Belfast in 1911.
